Operations Officer
Paid role, up to 15 hours per week
We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Operations Officer to help keep Open Gardens Victoria running smoothly and support our program of garden openings and events across Victoria.
You’ll work with our Committee of Management and dedicated volunteers, coordinating activities, communications and the systems that keep things on track behind the scenes.
This is a paid, flexible, primarily remote role of up to 15 hours per week, with hours varying across our seasonal program.

Social Media Manager
Paid role, up to 8 hours per week
Join Open Gardens Victoria and help bring our incredible gardens, events and community to life across social media.
We’re looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Manager to develop engaging content, tell the stories behind our gardens and help grow OGV’s digital presence and audience engagement.
Working closely with our Marketing and Communications team and Committee of Management, you’ll have the opportunity to shape our social media presence and help inspire people to discover and visit remarkable private gardens across Victoria.
This is a paid, flexible and primarily remote role of up to 8 hours per week, with hours varying across OGV’s seasonal program.
If you’re a great visual storyteller, understand what works on social media and would love to bring your creativity to a respected, volunteer-led organisation, we’d love to hear from you.

Treasurer
Volunteer role
We’re looking for a Treasurer to oversee the financial management and sustainability of the organisation. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring income and expenditure, and ensuring robust financial controls are in place.
As a key member of the Committee of Management, the Treasurer provides strategic financial advice, supports informed decision-making, and works closely with committee members and external providers to safeguard the organisation’s resources and ensure its ongoing viability.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a respected community organisation, supporting the continued sharing of Victoria’s diverse and unique private gardens.
