The OGV team

Our Committee of Management are all volunteers, with a range of backgrounds in horticulture, governance, marketing, finance and administration. We have a structure with a series of sub-committees reporting to the Committee of Management.

The following sub-committees support the work of OGV:

  • Selection - manage the selection of gardens and support garden owners with their opening

  • Giving - manage our Giving Program and the MIFGS Student and Emerging Designer grant

  • Events - create and run horticulture-related events including design talks, workshops and master classes

  • Marketing and Communications - create content for our garden openings, events and programs to inform and engage our supporters, and build awareness for OGV

  • Volunteers - manage volunteers to support the delivery of garden openings and events

  • Governance - ensure compliance with regulations and management of processes to support our organisation
