Our 2025 Giving Program recipients

We're thrilled to announce five new Giving Program recipients for the 2024/25 year. Each will receive funding from us to use for the projects listed below. We can't wait to see the progression of these exciting innovations!

Erasmus Primary School

Evergreen - Growing Charity

This regional primary school will use the funds for an organic, sustainable vegetable garden and orchard, producing fresh produce for students, with some being used for the school kitchen. The charity garden will be used by two local schools.

Saltbush Balnarring Beach

Australian Native Garden Project

Saltbush Balnarring Beach has created housing for vulnerable and disadvantaged people, housing 1,896 guests in 2023/24. The tranquil native garden will enhance the garden surrounding these houses.

Heathcote Dementia Alliance

The Healing Garden: Grown with First Nations Wisdom

Heathcote Dementia Alliance, in conjunction with Bendigo and District Indigenous Cooperative, will co-design and develop this garden to include community members, Indigenous locals and young people. The space will be used for education, storytelling, healing and include volunteers, schools, community leaders and visitors.

Bass Coast Landcare Network

Bushfoods and Butterflies at the River Garden

River Garden is a one-hectare community demonstration and education site on public land in Bass. This funding will help to upgrade their bushfoods and butterfly area as a functional garden and demonstration site for local community and children.

Heartscapes

Melbourne Pollinator Corridor

This funding will help Heartscapes create two new Melbourne Pollinator Corridors, increasing the impact they have on local communities of humans, fauna, flora and fungi. It will be planted out with mainly indigenous plants that have great chance of surviving and will support native pollinating insects.
