We first opened Gherang Gardenalia in October 2016 and are thrilled to open it again in our 10th anniversary year.
This garden is situated on the beautiful Surfcoast Hinterland. This is a horticulturist and collector’s garden, of plants and found objects repurposed into sculptures, garden structures and plant pots.
Gravel paths lead you through garden rooms planted with natives, succulents and drought tolerant perennials. Plant structure and form are of particular interest as well as foliage texture and contrasting colours.
On this 4 acre property are two productive vegetable gardens, a glasshouse, pool and grassed spaces under shady gum trees. Check out Gherang Gardenalia's Instagram here.
There will be morning and afternoon teas, plants for sale, a pop-up art gallery, and there is plenty of space for a picnic on the grass.
Gherang Gardenalia is located on the lands of the Wadawurrung People. Open Gardens Victoria wish to acknowledge the Traditional custodians of this land and we pay respect to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
